You've probably heard about it...

L.I.F.E. is THE place to be on Wednesday nights! Every Wednesday night during the school year from 7:00-9:00, hundreds of youth from the community descend on our Family Life Center. We gather for games, in-depth Bible study,(we divide the middle school and high school into separate groups), and free time to play basketball, ping-pong, pool, and to just hang with your friends.

We provide free snacks and sell drinks. We have over 30 youth and adult leaders who run L.I.F.E. They do everything from leading excellent meaningful Bible Study, to patrolling for security, running games, being someone who genuinely cares about you that you can talk to, and can play a mean game of pool or basketball.

This ministry has become an incredible "open door" for youth in our community who don't attend church anywhere else.  They have found a place that just feels right.  Middle school, high school and college students attend L.I.F.E. from over 10 different area schools.  These teens have found L.I.F.E. and it's leaders so accepting and such a great place to belong that call L.I.F.E. 'their' church.

Many of our youth who began only attending L.I.F.E. have found Central Baptist such a great place to belong that they have become involved in CATALYST,(our non-traditional worship service), Centrifuge, participating in activities such as retreats, hayrides, lock-ins, and have even joined our church.

L.I.F.E. has also become an incredible training ground for future leaders.  Many of our coordinators, Bible study leaders, and small group leaders are older high school and college age students who love God, have a passion to serve others, and have a heart for teens and helping them see how God can help them...
